“ A good North Shore-style roast beef sandwich on a toasted, sesame seed bun (Big Martys?), not soggy, thinly sliced. Ask for double horseradish sauce (or anything you want). Not fancy, an old-school hole in the wall, just quick and good. Limited seating, easy parking in front (small strip mall). Used to work nearby, and this was a regular for lunch. Stopped by recently and it's still the same. ”

“ I went on a personal quest to find the best roast beef sandwich in the Boston area and the Super Beef from Bedford House of Roast Beef was the winner. First off, the roast beef itself is truly stellar. Juicy, meaty, so flavorful and tender, and extremely generously portioned. Second, the supporting cast is perfect- crispy vegies, hots, cheese, bbq sauce and mayo, on a toasty burger bun. More recent reviews state the quality has fallen off. I can't say I have been by more recently to be able to see if this is true, but if so, it would be a great loss. ”
